One of Sweden's young up-and-coming vocalists, Ellen Andersson, gives this evening her special interpretation of the legendary pianist Bill Evans and his collaboration with the great Swedish singing icon, Monica Zetterlund. Ellen Andersson has deservedly become a bit of a star in her homeland and is coming here to Montmartre for the first time.
With her insistent, beautiful and melodious voice, she manages to grab the listener from the first verse. She masters the insistent ballads perfectly, and gives them her very own ""Swedish"" cool sweetness. But more lively songs also get Ellen Andersson's special treatment. She is accompanied by a terrific Danish/Swedish all-stars trio.
