Brasilianske Leo Minax er igen i Danmark og optræder med varme rytmer til Vinterjazz sammen med Steen Rasmussen og deres band.Â
Minax kaster sig over egne kompositioner rundet af sofistikeret jazzet folklore med udgangspunkt i Brasiliens højland samt sange fra den store bossanova songbook.Â
Steen Rasmussen er en af rigets førende fortolkere af brasiliansk jazz og har i mange Ã¥r været forelsket genren samtidig med, at han giver plads til nordisk melankoli.Â
Han har skabt nogle indtagende melodier, hvor bÃ¥de letheden, elegancen og dybden folder sig ud.Â

Brazilian Leo Minax is in Denmark again, and performs warm rhythms for Vinterjazz together with Steen Rasmussen and their band.
Minax performs compositions of sophisticated jazzy folklore, based on the Brazilian highlands as well as songs from the great bossanova songbook.
Steen Rasmussen is one of Denmark's leading interpreters of Brazilian jazz. He has for many years been in love with the genre and at the same time made room for Nordic melancholy in his songs.
He has created some captivating melodies, where both lightness, elegance and depth unfold.
