Bobo Stenson er en af Nordens mest internationalt kendte og fejrede jazzpianister gennem tiderne, en gigant, der har forgyldt jazzverdenen i over 50 år med sit følsomme klaverspil.
Ikke alene har han opnået status som en førende kunstner hos verdens måske mest prestigefulde jazz-pladeselskab ECM. Han har også gennem årtier spillet med legender som Charles Lloyd, Dexter Gordon, Stan Getz, Jan Garbarek, Benny Bailey og Don Cherry for blot at nævne nogle få.
Gennem sit liv har Bobo Stenson vundet ikke mindre end tre Grammys. Senest for "Årets Jazz" med sin trio og albummet 'Sphere'
Stenson har en udpræget lyriske følelse i sit spil. Anders Jormin basspil er tydeligt folk-inspireret, og Jon Fälts trommespil er funklende og mangefacetteret.

Bobo Stenson is one of the Nordic countries' most internationally known and celebrated jazz pianists of all time, a giant who has gilded the jazz world for over 50 years with his sensitive piano playing.
Not only has he achieved status as a leading artist on perhaps the world's most prestigious jazz record label ECM. He has also played with legends such as Charles Lloyd, Dexter Gordon, Stan Getz, Jan Garbarek, Benny Bailey and Don Cherry for decades, to name just a few.
Throughout his life, Bobo Stenson has won no less than three Grammys. Most recently for "Jazz of the Year" with his trio and the album 'Sphere'.
Stenson has a distinctly lyrical feel to his playing. Anders Jormin's bass playing is clearly folk-inspired, and Jon Fält's drumming is sparkling and multifaceted.
