🇬🇧 ENGLISH:
Flowing drum grooves, hypnotic piano patterns and ethereal sounds from stroked double bass create a naked sound world that is simple, immersive, spacious and honest.
Blåly is a young trio motivated by the transformative powers of music, with a sound rooted in close collaboration and community. In a collective exploration of ideas, Blåly combines gentle lyrical melodies and colorful melancholic harmony into a mature and textual sound palette that draws on elements of musical poetry, jazz, folk as well as Nordic and classical traditions.
In 2024, Blåly released their debut album 'Nystalgi' on the renowned jazz label April Records. The critically acclaimed album was, among other things, Album of the week on DR P8 Jazz and received a five-star review in the music magazine GAFFA."
