Benjamin Koppel har så ufatteligt meget at byde på. Han er altsaxofonist i verdensklasse, komponist ud af en berømt komponist-familie med dybe rødder, storsælgende forfatter med meget på hjerte, og også succesfuld koncertarrangøren med så meget mere.
Med andre ord, han har en uudtømmelig energi og en ægte kunstnerisk kosmopolit, der befinder sig lige godt i hjemmet i Valby som i New York, hvor han har spillet med alle de store, der er værd at spille med.
Han har altid gang i flere nye koncepter og projekter, og det lykkes altid at få alting til at gå op i en højere enhed takket være hans kæmpe talent, hårdt slid og stor venlighed.
Ved disse tre aftner på Montmartre samler han to af landets travleste musikere, pianisten Jacob Christoffersen og bassisten Johnny Åman, og har samt dem stævne med den ungarsk-amerikanske trommeslager Ferenc Nemeth. Sidstnævnte er er kendt for sit stærkt dynamiske og teknisk overdådige spil. Tilsammen er de en kraftfuld kvartet, som må opleves.

Benjamin Koppel has so much to offer. He is a world-class alto saxophonist, a composer from a famous family of composers with deep roots, a best-selling author with much on his mind, and also a successful concert organizer with so much more.
In other words, he has inexhaustible energy and a true artistic cosmopolitan who is equally at home in Valby as in New York, where he has played with all the greats worth playing with.
He always has several new concepts and projects going on, and he always manages to make everything come together in a higher unity thanks to his enormous talent, hard work and great kindness.
For these three evenings at Montmartre, he brings together two of the country's busiest musicians, pianist Jacob Christoffersen and bassist Johnny Åman, and has them join the Hungarian-American drummer Ferenc Nemeth. The latter is known for his highly dynamic and technically sumptuous playing. Together they are a powerful quartet that must be experienced.
