Dwayne Clemons Quintet: Bebop Spoken Here

“Premium” is Montmartre’s series of rare intimate concerts with jazz giants that you cannot normally meet on small intimate stages. These concerts are priced above the normal tickets to cover costs and travel for these heavy-weights.
Dwayne Clemons (Trumpet / US)Søren Høst (Tenor Sax / DK)Ben Besiakov (Piano / DK)Ida Hvid (Bass / DK)Frands Rifbjerg (Drums / DK)

The Swedes are lucky! In 2014, American trumpet player Dwayne Clemons moved to Stockholm and started teaching local musicians how to play today’s version of US-jazz. Clemons’ own playing offers grand, technical perfect, warm and catching lines. On this occasion, we will enjoy Clemons accompanied by four eminent Danish musicians. Keep an open ear out for young tenor player Søren Høst. American/Danish Jazz at its very best – and totally in line with the tradition.
