Vincentz/Kjærgaard/Morgan/Hart

“Premium” is Montmartre’s series of rare intimate concerts with jazz giants that you cannot normally meet on small intimate stages. These concerts are priced above the normal tickets to cover costs and travel for these heavy-weights.
Niels Vincentz (Tenor Sax / DK)Søren Kjærgaard (Piano / DK)Thomas Morgan (Bass / US)billy Hart (Drums / US)

After his conservatory education Niels Vincentz has lived in both New York and Djursland (DK). He has worked with names like Kresten Osgood, Hess Is More, Caroline Henderson, Jakob Bro plus many others and over the last couple of years he has made himself noted on numerous distinctive releases such as Kresten Osgoods’ “Sound”, and his own releases with his praised trio, with Billy Hart and Cameron Brown. He has been called “some of the best that has happened to Danish Jazz!” and we definitely agree. Once again Niels is bringing his longtime friend Billy Hart who at an age of 73 is considered one of the most legendary drummers out there. During his long career, he has played with the likes of Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Stan Getz, and almost every other jazz giant you can think of. Søren Kjærgaard and Thomas Morgan can also be found in this Danish-American super quartet and we guarantee this will be a magnificent experience.
