ACT 25 at Montmartre: Vincent Peirani & Émile Parisien

“Premium” is Montmartre’s series of rare intimate concerts with jazz giants that you cannot normally meet on small intimate stages. These concerts are priced above the normal tickets to cover costs and travel for these heavy-weights.
Vincent Peirani (Accordion / FR)Émile Parisien (Soprano Sax / FR)

We are hosting three very special nights at Montmartre celebrating the 25-year anniversary of the German indie record label, ACT, which has had an important role on the European jazz scene since the early 90s. On this particular "ACT" night you can look forward to hearing one of the best accordionists of this generation in the shape of Vincent Peirani, whose projects draw from a wide range of genres from jazz, world music, classic and even heavy rock. He will perform together with fellow Frenchman, ACT colleague and saxophonist, Émile Parisien, who was elected "Best French Musician of the Year" by the Académie du Jazz in 2012. He has played with several leading figures of jazz such as Wynton Marsalis, Johnny Griffin and Bobby Hutcherson. Expect a magical night with the French duo.
