ACT 25 at Montmartre: Leszek Możdżer

“Premium” is Montmartre’s series of rare intimate concerts with jazz giants that you cannot normally meet on small intimate stages. These concerts are priced above the normal tickets to cover costs and travel for these heavy-weights.
Leszek Mozdzer (Piano)

We are hosting three very special nights at Montmartre celebrating the 25-year anniversary of the German indie record label, ACT, which has had an important role on the European jazz scene since the early 90s. On this particular "ACT" night one can look forward to hearing Leszek Możdżer, who is regarded as the most important discovery in Polish jazz during the past 10 years. His international reputation as one of the outstanding pianists in jazz is founded on his groundbreaking mixing of classical music with the openness and energy of jazz. His sparkling and technically unrivalled playing style has been connected to lyrical and emotional melodies ever since.
