Many Danish jazz musicians have international careers and excite jazz listeners all around the world. Bassist Jesper Bodilsen has been an established musician in Italy for many years, and drummer Martin Andersen almost consider Spain as his second home. The excellent Italian trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso is one of the star musicians, who uses the two Danish musicians at concerts in Italy. Just like his compatriot and instrument colleague, Enrico Rava, Bosso focuses on the melodic in his playing. His ability to compose the most beautiful and often surprising musical lines is breathtaking, and his tone choices and laid-back style evokes memories of a sleepy Italian village. If you close your eyes and listen to the music, you are suddenly sitting in the shade drinking a glass of local wine, while the sun calmly sets behind the mountain tops. This concert is the only opportunity to experience Fabrizio Bosso in Denmark this time around.
Mange danske jazzmusikere har internationale karrierer og begejstrer jazzlyttere verden over.
