Enrico Rava appeared on the jazz scene in the mid-sixties rapidly imposing himself as one of the most compelling soloists in Europe within the bebop and avant-garde jazz spheres. His style is immediately recognizable through his warm, rounded and lyrical tones on the trumpet, which manages to take the listener on a musical adventure. When he goes on stage he will do so together with the talented Japanese jazz pianist Makiko Hirabayashi, who has been in a trio for many years with Klavs Hovman and Marilyn Mazur. Eric Reed/Ralph Moore Project

Eric Reed (Piano / US)Ralph Moore (Tenor Sax / UK)Andreas Svendsen (Drums / DK)Matthias Petri (Bass / DK)

Just like Wynton Marsalis evolved as a musician under the tutelage of Art Blakey, he himself has mentored countless young talents during his career. One of the most talented is Eric reed who has evolved into a star of his own who has had great success with his solo projects since his debut in 1990. British saxophone player Ralph Moore will accompany Eric Reed.
